Winter Getaway: Las Vegas & Southwest US
Winter Getaway: Las Vegas & Southwest US
It seems unfair, that as we Europeans brace ourselves for yet another cold weather front, people in the southwest US complain about the thermostat dropping to below 60. Las Vegans and Los Angelenos pile into thermal underwear and don their parkas and tremendous puffer jackets as fashion statements, as if they walked straight out of GQ or Tatler. Londoners and Stockholmers don their garments out of necessity, to go outside without freezing their butts off!
Yes, in Las Vegas, it gets cold. It snows. But at least temperatures during the day stay above freezing. And sometimes, it gets hot – hot enough to warrant some Strip hotels to open their pools out of season! Which pleases the smart Europeans that so happen to be in Las Vegas.
As you consider another 60 days of winter in sub-zero temperature, why not consider booking a last minute trip to Las Vegas? A Winter Getaway in Vegas, what could be better?
